Privacy policy

We receive only what you type into a form. Each form collects the following.

Home page data check (/): work email, company, and the tools your company uses.

Data readiness checklist form (/science/preserve): work email, company, status, target start date, and the systems that hold your data.

Data check (/science/estimate): program status, stage, data types, years of data, modality, therapeutic area, whether the program is being sold, whether a partner has rights, your role, company, and work email.

Sample request (/buyers): work email, company, your role, modalities of interest, the data you're looking for, and any notes.

Referral forms (/investors): your work email, your firm, the company you're referring, what's happening there, and any notes.

Industry data-check forms: name, work email, company, and optionally your situation and a description of the data you hold.

If you email hello@cowboydata.tech, we receive what you send. Please don't send personal data about other people or confidential program data through a form.

Two tools save progress in your browser’s local storage, not on our servers: the data readiness checklist remembers which items you ticked, and the data check remembers your answers until you submit or choose Start over. Clearing your browser’s site data removes both.

We use form submissions to reply to you, follow up on your request, and decide whether we can help.

Form submissions are delivered through our form provider, Formspree.

When this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
